Cristoforo Colombo Airport in Genoa is the nearest airport to Sestri Levante.
If you are arriving into Genoa airport, there is a bus shuttle (“volabus”) that will take you to a train station (“Genova Principe” or “Genova Piazza Principe” — pronounced PRIN-chee-pay where chee is the sound in cheese). From that station you can easily get to Sestri Levante. There are ticket vending machines that work in all languages.
Other airport: Milano Linate and Milano Malpensa.
From Milan, trains are a valuable solution to reach Sestri Levante. From the Milano Centrale Station there are many trains to Sestri Levante.
The city centre lies at about two kilometers far from the A12 Motorway exit of Sestri Levante and it is also crossed by the Via Aurelia.
Sestri Levante has two train stations along Genoa-Rome railway: one in the city centre and the other one in the hamlet of Riva Trigoso.
